Really, the only place to have food when at YVR South. The place is family owned and operated and have taken care of the employees and passengers for many years. Food is quite diverse as they have the usual burgers, soups, sandwiches and even wonton soup! I mainly get here early and have their breakfast. Today, the flight was around lunchtime and decided to try the seafood chowder. Not bad but maybe they should have left out the word "seafood". I mean, if you're going to highlight it as seafood chowder, you better put more than fake crab (white fish). Was hoping for at least a shrimp or two. Maybe some scallops. But as I said, I normally come for their other food and never had issues.

This place is just so terrible that its good. I mean everything: food, service, atmosphere was god awful but at the same time I loved everything about it. The best way I can describe this place is that if it were a movie, it would be Sharknado. After my disgustingly wonderful experience, I was left with several questions in my head. Was the beef dip I ate made with actual cow meat? Probably not. Were the fries the same brand of frozen microwavable fries I find at my local supermarket? Odds tend to favor it. Had a hamburger ever been ordered at this place before? Thats most likely a no. Was the wonton soup anything but dog-food filled noodles suspended in pure oil? Nope. But, did I thoroughly enjoy my time? Absolutely!
